How I See Therapy

I believe that whether you are a partner, parent, friend or child, your relationships are continually shaping your life. It is through our many relationships with others that we fully experience life and either show up as our best or not-so-best selves. Often it is when we’re not being the person we want to be that we seek to make a change.

As your therapist, I believe my purpose is to help you identify painful relationship patterns and understand where they come from, then help you rework them so that you can think, feel and be differently. I don’t believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Just as each of us has our own individual life story and custom blend of experiences, your journey through therapy will also be uniquely your own. But having said that, there are many proven strategies and methods that I will employ to help you gain the most from your therapy experience.
